The Flotation Machine SF2.8 separates valuable minerals from gangue by froth flotation, a process in which chemically conditioned ore particles attach to air bubbles and rise to the surface as a mineral-rich froth. A self-aspirating impeller draws in and disperses air while keeping the pulp in suspension, and a rotating scraper continuously removes the loaded froth for recovery. The deep, well-mixed cell and reliable air dispersion give high recovery and good concentrate grade, while the simple mechanical design keeps maintenance straightforward. Modular cells can be arranged in banks to build the flotation circuit best suited to each ore and flowsheet.
